Florian Boesch and Justus Zeyen are regular guests in Wiesbaden. This year, they invite the audience on a journey into high Romanticism, with Franz Liszt´s settings of the "Loreley" and "Über allen Gipfeln ist Ruh", as well as "Ruhe, meine Seele" and "Allerseelen" by Richard Strauss. The evening comes to a climax with one of the great cycles from Robert Schumann´s so-called 1840 "year of song", the setting of 12 Poems by Justinus Kerner, Op. 35. »Never end, wild night of storm, Rattle, house-emblems and windows, Rear up, forests.
