Behind the moniker Igorrr is the French musician Gautier Serre. For about 15 years he has been mixing black metal, jazz, classical, breakcore, klezmer and nintendocore. And believe it or not, he gets away with it. Over the years he has gathered around him some impressive artists, including Mayhem guitarist Teloch and classical singer Laure Le Prunenec. In 2017, Igorrr - which has since grown into a real band - scored a hit in the metal scene with the album ’Savage Sinusoid’, awarded by Metal Injection with the significant ’Bat Shit Crazy Album Of The Year’ award. In March 2020 the new album Spirituality and Distortion was released, on which breakcore rules in the first place. So expect a blistering live show as usual. Ideal to usher in the post-Corona world, right?
