The miraculous Touareg guitarist Mdou Moctar hit the audience’s radar ten years ago, when the American label Sahel Sounds included him on the compilation Music from Saharan Cellphones. Meanwhile, his cuvée desert blues and contemporary psychedelia have taken root in clubs and annual charts on both sides of the Atlantic. This year’s novelty AfriqueVictime, which scores 8th in the list of the 50 best albums of this year’s prestigious Pitchfork server and also in the charts of Mojo, Rolling Stone, The Guardian and Uncut magazines, will come to the Czech audience for the first time. Guests: ★ Šimanský & Niesner The pair of guitarists Jakub Šimanský and Tomáš Niesner debuted together with the album Dance of the Unknown, which was released on the Stoned to Death label in 2019.
