Samantha Hudson, born Iván González in León, Spain, is a singer, performer, and LGBTQ+ activist who has become a prominent figure in Spanish pop culture. She first rose to fame in 2015 after creating a provocative music video for her school project, titled "Maricón" ("Faggot"). The video, which was a satirical take on religious and LGBTQ+ themes, quickly went viral, sparking both controversy and acclaim. Despite the backlash from conservative groups, the project launched Hudson into the spotlight as a bold voice for sexual diversity and artistic freedom.
