Biography

Agua Bendita, a Spanish band rooted in Barcelona’s La Trinitat neighborhood, emerged in the 1990s with a lively fusion of punk, ska, and reggae. Formed by a group of friends passionate about creating energetic, rebellious music, Agua Bendita quickly gained recognition in the local scene. Their raw, DIY approach connected with fans, and in 1993, they released their first demo, Agua Bendita: ¡Amén!, followed by ¡Grita Libertad! in 1994. Both tapes, produced independently, were embraced by underground music circles and sold over 18,000 copies.
