Michael Monroe has practically been in charge of opening the fourth and final day of the Rock Fest BCN on Sunday, July 7 at the Can Zam venue in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, near Barcelona. A dubious honor given the suffocating heat that fell on the festival before two in the afternoon.

However, the artist has given everything and everyone present knew that it was worth 'getting up early' to see this stage monster live, a myth of hard rock also known as the voice of Hanoi Rocks.

A hyperactive and playful man who has climbed the scaffolding of the stage almost reaching the roof, frolicking on the catwalk between the public, hugging them, giving them their harmonica or his (second) cap. All love, all passion. He has not complained excessively about his schedule but said that maybe a tour in conditions for Spain would be necessary.

All a revulsive for an audience that had already digested three consecutive days of concerts and enjoyed a hard rock 'old style' with punk attitude, harmonica solos, saxophone and a group of very solvent musicians who admired the pranks of Monroe, a real 'entertainer' and a great 'frontman'. The Finnish has presented some songs of his new album entitled 'One Man Gang' but also great songs from Hanoi Rock such as 'Back to Mistery City'.

The band is formed by Michael Monroe, Sami Yaffa, Rich Jones, Steve Conte and Karl Rockfist.
