The Offspring has been the band that has headed the Barna’n’Roll 2019 festival held on Saturday, August 3 at the Poble Espanyol venue in Barcelona. The veteran melodic hardcore band has offered a great hits concert, with the exception of the new song 'It won't get better', in front of an audience that has shown their enthusiasm for their best known songs like 'The kids aren't alright', 'Gotta get away', 'Come out and play', 'Self esteem', 'Pretty Fly (for a white guy)'… In addition to AC/DC's 'Whole lotta Rosie' cover, according to themselves, the greatest rock band in the world.

The people wanted classics and they have given them a set based on their great success ‘Smash’ and the no less popular although more pop ‘Americana’. During the concert, inflatables were launched among the public. Noodles has asked at the end to return all his "pets". Everyone happy.

The exception and perhaps the strangest moment of the concert has been when an intimate moment has been pretended, in which the singer Dexter Holland dedicates the song ‘Gone Away’ to a young girlfriend who died in a traffic accident. He has been surrounded with three sideboards of burning candles and has sung to the piano as a kind of a 'harcore' Elton John.

Among the audience, which has sold out the 5,000 festival tickets, part of the people have not even understood remotely what this scene was coming from and there are those who have exclaimed: “Oh! A romantic moment! ” And they have lit their lighter to heaven.

You may wonder why in an Offspring photo gallery there are no photos of Offspring. It is because the North American group has not allowed all photographers accredited for the Barna’N’Roll festival to photograph the concert, only a minority, not only from the pit but also from outside.
