The Be Prog! My Friend, the biggest spanish festival of rock and progressive metal is about to begin. Among its most outstanding proposals stands Steve Hackett - with his own and Genesis songs - and A Perfect Circle with Maynard James Keenan.
Do not forget the band Pain of Salvation - who had previously performed at the festival - the 'supergroup' Sons of Apollo with Mike Portnoy, Derek Sherinian and Billy Sheehan or the devastating psychedelic black metal of the Finnish band Oranssi Pazuzu.

The Be Prog! My Friend music festival has completed its bill for its next edition to be held on June 29 and 30 in the Pueblo Español venue of Barcelona. This festival reaches its fifth edition with the peculiarity of being dedicated to progressive rock and metal, unique in its kind in Spain.
In 2018 there will perform at the festival A Perfect Circle - they will also be at the Download Festival in Madrid-, Steve Hackett with the show Genesis Revisited, Baroness, Burst will meet to play their album 'Lazarus Bird', Sons of Apollo, Pain of Salvation - repeating at the festival-, Gazpacho, Plini, Oranssi Pazuzu and Persefone. Katatonia have fallen off the festival bill after announcing an indefinite stop.
The 'line up' is divided as follows:
On June 29 will act: A Perfect Circle, Pain of Salvation, Baroness, Oranssi Pazuzu and Persefone.
On June 30 will act: Steve Hackett, Sons of Apollo, Burst, Gazpacho and Plini.
Steve Hackett will perform songs by Genesis and his long solo career with more than 30 albums published. He will be accompanied by singer Nad Sylvan, bassist Nick Beggs, keyboardist Roger King, drummer Gary O'Toole and saxophonist Rob Townsend.
