Alan Parker, director of Pink Floyd's 'The Wall' movie, dies

 Alan Parker (Matlock, UK) has died at the age of 76 from a long unspecified illness announced on Friday, July 31. The well-known film director directed the Pink Floyd film 'The Wall' and others as famous as 'The Midnight Express', Burning Mississippi', 'Evita', 'The Commitments', 'Fame' - which led to the well-known series TV Show from the '80s -,' Birdy' or 'Bugsy Malone'.
