The reggaeton singer Legarda dies due to a stray bullet

Singer Fabio Legarda has died after being shot in the head in Medellín (Colombia). The artist of urban music and youtuber was accidentally, traveling in a vehicle, near an attempted robbery to a security guard. The guard opened fire with his weapon against the assailants -he beat one- and a stray bullet struck Legarda.

Legarda was transferred to a hospital but died shortly after with a "very severe brain damage" according to the León XIII Clinic.

Fabio Legarda began to sing with 14 years urban music like reggaeton and publish them on YouTube until signing for Sony. He is the author of successes like 'Libre', 'Necesito tu amor', 'Mala es' or ‘Hipnotizado’. His collaborations with Leslie Shaw in 'Volverte a ver' and Daniela Darcourt in 'Cheveranenado' were also very celebrated.

Fame came when he participated in the Colombian version of 'Masterchef Celebrities' and started a relationship with youtuber Luisa Fernanda W.

Artists like Maluma, Carlos Vives or Fonseca have claimed against violence in Colombia.
