Festival Cara•B 2020: Locoplaya, Los Punsetes, Él Mató A Un Policía Motorizado...

Festival Cara•B 2020: Locoplaya, Los Punsetes, Él Mató A Un Policía Motorizado...

The earliest festival of the Barcelona music festive season, the Cara·B, returns with its original proposal to devote one day to urban rhythms and another to indie-pop. The musical event will be held in its sixth edition at the Fabra i Coats Factory in Sant Andreu (very close to the L1 metro), its usual place, on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 February.

Friday will be dedicated to urban music and rap and will be led by Locoplaya, the trio formed by Bejo, Don Patricio and Uge, return to the festival with their casual style and advice to lead a healthy life. The Canaries release a new single, ‘That little face that you take me’('Esa carita que me llevas'), and quarrels on Twitter for Don Patricio on account of statements that many users described as classists that have led to the artist finally closing his account on that social network.

The same day will act rappers Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso, promises of the genre in Argentina; Fanso (Craneo & Lasser), an original proposal focused on lo-fi sound and ‘lysergic trips’ and Soto Asa, new emerging value of the state urban scene but with a musical proposal with its own universe. The urban day rhythms of Deva, Aleesha (R&B, pop ...) and Erik Urano (reference of underground rap), who a few years ago performed at the BAM Festival in Barcelona, complete the first day poster.

On Saturday it will be headed by Los Punsetes, the band of Madrid return to Cara·B after four years to present their new work ‘Annihilation’ ('Aniquilación'). A group with six albums behind it that is characterized by its corrosive lyrics, its instrumental forcefulness that generates mosh in the audience and the disturbing immobility of its singer, Ariadna Paniagua, always dressed in a very original way - for each concert she makes a new dress-, despite the turmoil at her feet.

During this day will also perform an South-American band, the Argentines Él Mató A Un Policía Motorizado, classics of the Latin American indie; Sevillians Pony Bravo will return with their lysergic jams and presenting a new album, ‘Gurú’ and one of the groups that have taken off most of last year, also Sevillian Derby Motoreta’s Burrito Kachimba and his kinkidelia, Andalusian rock with a kinki theme lined with psychedelia.

Saturday's poster is completed by the Ortiga –Chicho, by Esteban & Manuel-, the pop by Cariño (Paola, María and Alicia) and the urban K-Pop by Luna Ki.

The Cara·B is a festival that in its latest editions is selling all the paper so who wants to go ... Hurry!
