DGTL 2018: Amelie Lens, Dixon, Maceo Plex, Oscar Mulero...

The DGTL of Barcelona will be held again at the Forum Park on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 August. The electronic music festival will raise four stages, about 60 sessions will be performed. About 35,000 people visited laste year the festival that is based in Amsterdam.

Of its poster highlights the presence of Amelie Lens, Adriatique, Dixon, Maceo Plex, Oscar Mulero, Mind Against... And luxury collaborations between Ben Ufo & Job Jobse, Fort Romeau & Pional or Antal & Palms Trax.

In addition to music, the festival has a deep concern with the environment and aspires to be the first festival with zero waste in the 2020 edition. Last year it made headlines with the installation of toilets that turned urine into phosphates that can be used in agriculture as fertilizer. Their menu is one hundred percent vegetarian, eliminating the meat from the menu.

Art also has a place in the DGTL. Cluster is a great artistic installation work of the Playmodes studio in which the public can experience the relationship between time, space and perception.

The electronic music festival DGTL begins to roll. It has confirmed the upcoming artists, house and techno big names, who will perform on August 10 and 11 at the Forum Park of Barcelona: Solomun, Maceo Plex, Jamie Jones, Apollonia, Perel, Oscar Mulero, Rødhåd, Dax J, Fatima Yamaha, Tuff City Kids (Gerd Janson and Lauer), Detroit Swindle, Adriátique, KiNKI, Peggy Gou, Amelie Lens, Hot Since 82, Antal, Palm Trax, Nightmares On Wax, Tijana T, Dj Fra or Pau Roca.

In the duo dj performances, back-to-back, we will find in the fourth edition of the DGTL: Dj Tenis and Roman Flügel, Carl Craig and Cassy, ​​Ben UFO and Job Jobse and, finally, Fort Romeau and Pional.

The DGTL, born in Amsterdam, works hard on sustainability and, for example, last year had WC's that turned the urine of visitors into a substance suitable for fertilizing the fields or an exclusively vegetarian or vegan menu. Innovation and visual arts are also given special importance.
