Mad Cool 2017 schedule: Foo Fighters, Green Day, Wilco, M.I.A., Foals...

It seems incredible that of Mad Cool in its second edition has made an hallucinating bill with Foo Fighters, Green Day, Belle & Sebastian, MIA, Kiasmos... First class band of rock, electronic or pop-indie music.

The result has been that three months before the festival there was no tickets on sale, any kind of tickets. Total and absolute 'Sold out'. How have they succeeded? Well, in its case it was not so difficult, they have behind Live Nation, probably the most important promoter of concerts in the world that also organizes in Madrid the Download Festival.

Beyond the numbers it is clear that a live music has established in Spain. Such is the size that could eclipse the other big festival that is celebrated this weekend, the BBK Live that comes out to play with Depeche Mode, The Killers, Fleet Foxes or Die Antwoord. Anyone knows who will win in this live music battle but it is clear that there is a fight between them.

Another case is that of the Resurrection - also celebrated this weekend -, near to exhaust tickets, which plays in another league when heading towards a public 'metal' or hardcore. Attendees who will not go to see Belle & Sebastian after experiencing Foo Fighters.

Among the curiosities of the festival, Quique González wants to record his concert at Mad Cool to publish a live album.
