Gracia Street Party cancelled today due to terrorist attack in Barcelona

The Centre Artesà Tradicionàrius has announced through its profile on Instagram that the concerts to be held in the Plaza del Folk - real name Plaza del Sol - on Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the Gracia Street Party (Barcelona) have been canceled.

The programmers of this important space of the Gracia Street Party will held the three days of official mourning that have been decreed by the attack. However, on Monday there are still concerts scheduled in this space, such as the Balkan Paradise Orchestra.

Continuing with the Gracia Street Party, the Foundation that organizes these celebrations has published a statement in agreement with the Barcelona City Council stating that massive activities of today, Friday 18 August 2017, during the night are canceled but it is possible to visit the ornate streets and the handcraft fair. Also scheduled neighbourhood dinners will be held.

The Sants Street Party, in its Facebook profile, has announced that "the institutional acts of Saturday and Sunday are canceled (beginning’s speech, awards and Lealtad Santsenca’s opening), the fair of attractions, the pasacalle, sardanas and some concerts of the weekend" adding in the comments that "the Alternative Street Party has suspended their concert on Saturday in Muntadas Street and is trying to reschedule for Monday, and the Castellers have suspended all activities on Saturday. Sunday's daytime activities will be held but are studying what to do with the evening's concerts".

The Gràcia Street Party has announced through its Twitter profile that the evening activities on Friday, August 18, are suspended due to respect for the victims of the attack on Las Ramblas and Cambrils.

The Sant Magí Street Party of Tarragona has been canceled for the same reason.

The Sants Street Party -the third most popular street party in Barcelona after La Mercè and Gràcia-, which was to begin this Saturday, August 19, has announced that it will suspend all official acts of the weekend.

The concerts in the Barracks of Sitges Street Party -a touristic town very near of Barcelona- have been delayed for the three official days of mourning, from Thursday 17 to Sunday 20 of August, decreed by the Spanish Government. The official beginning of the local party has also been postponed on Monday, August 21.

About the concert halls and discos of Barcelona, ​​the Apolo venue has assured that tonight will continue closed, this will not happen at the Jamboree venue, very near to Las Ramblas, that will open doors.

Alizzz has posted on his Twitter profile that he has postponed his performance in the Razzmatazz venue because "has no strength" and has desired "love for the victims and the whole city." However, Razzmatazz will open as a disco.

Festigàbal music festival has been cancelled due to Distric recomendations according to it promoter, Heliogàbal bar. The music event was planned to be celebrated today, Friday 18 August, and tomorrow Saturday 19 August, at La Sedeta Gardens, near Gràcia neighbourhood

It was planned that bands like Hidrogenesse, Los Bengala, Museless or Begun Dj performed in this event

The District and Gràcia Foundation have announced that today steet parties have been cancelled due to the terrorist attack in Las Ramblas of Barcelona.

A van has run over several people in the center of Barcelona, the most touristic point in the city, killing at least one personal and dozens of people injured.

All the major Disco's & Pubs of Barcelona like Apolo, Razzmatazz... will remain close the night of Thursday 17 August. Police has asked to not go to Barcelona downtown
