Jon Schaffer, founder of the heavy metal band Iced Earth, author of the hit 'Watching Over Me', participated in the assault on the US Capitol in Washington on Wednesday, January 6 to support President Donald Trump. The guitarist has appeared in photographs of people who entered the government building and now the FBI has listed him as a "person of interest" and is seeking more information about him.
