The FIB resists the explosion of urban music in festivals

The FIB resists the explosion of urban music in festivals

The FIB (Benicàssim, Spain –Mediterranean seaside-) has announced a new headliner for its next edition: Kings of Leon. The Americans will perform exclusively at the FIB, it will be their only concert in Spain this year. The group suspended its 2009 performance at the FIB due to a fire near the festival that caused the cancellation of several concerts that night.

There has also announced the presence of the hits machine Franz Ferdinand; George Ezra, presenting 'Staying at Tamara's' - recorded in Barcelona; pop Jess Glynne, featuring 'Always in Between' and others like rockers You Me At Six, Gorgon City (bass music), Ezra Furman (rock), Yellow Days (indie rock), Carolina Durante, Dj Seinfeld, Superorganism, The Big Moon, Sea Girls, Alien Tango and Bifannah.

Previously was announced the bands and artists Lana del Rey, The 1975, The M.O.D.A. and Blossoms.

From what is already known about the poster, it seems that the FIB resists the fashionable trend of adding urban music to festivals related to Anglo-Saxon pop rock.
