Le Printemps de Bourges 2019: Idles, Zazie, Beirut, Jeanne Added...

Le Printemps de Bourges will celebrate its 43rd edition from Tuesday 16 to Sunday 21 April, a few kilometers from the exact geographic center of France, it is the beginning of the season of the musical festivals in the France.

The veteran event combines paid concerts with others free of charge, a feature that makes it an extremely popular event. It is expected that up to 200,000 people will attend the numerous concerts that will take place in different stages of the city.

The festival combines different musical styles that range from rap to rock to world music, electronic and French singer-songwriters. In fact, this edition of Le Printemps de Bourges is dedicated to Serge Gainsbourg and Jacques Higuelin, two authors who have marked the history of the festival.

Great names like Idles, Zazie, Maître Gim's, Etienne de Crecy, Hubert-Felix Thiefaine, Nouvelle Vague or Charlie Winston among many others stand out, but Le Printemps de Bourges is, above all, a festival of musical discoveries. Consequently, the list of groups that comprise it is very broad, more than 200.
