Second day of misfortunes at Mad Cool in Madrid: Massive Attack cancel their concert

The Mad Cool has solved the major problems of access to the venue on its second day after the numerous complaints of the attendees who have renamed the festival with the nickname of 'Mad Coola' (‘Mad Queue’) for the queues that must be done to access the parking, venue, bars, toilets...

However, the festival has started off very badly and, on its second day, it has suffered the cancellation of one of the most important groups of its bill, the British Massive Attack.

In a statement released by the festival organization, "Massive Attack has canceled its concert at the Mad Cool Festival, scheduled to be held at The Loop, claiming that the sound of the stage where Franz Ferdinand was playing at the time was bothering them to perform their show. "

The statement adds that the organization tried to find a space in the concert program but that the group canceled its performance unilaterally.

"From the Organization we have done everything possible to delay schedules to other bands and find a time slot where Massive Attack were comfortable, but the band's unilateral decision has been to cancel their show."

Attendees at the concert, for their part, waited almost two hours for the concert of Robert del Naja and Daddy G. to begin without receiving any information, which has again put Mad Cool at the center of the critics. The patience of the public with the macro event is long overdue and 'a spark' could generate a fire.

The only information received by the public was, according to the newspaper 'ABC', at 3:15 am in the morning (the show was scheduled at 1:45 am) a brief message on a screen with the text: "Massive Attack cancels his concert in Mad Cool justifying noise nuisance of another stage. " The aforementioned newspaper also records an unfortunate incident by the festival's security team with a female band fan.
