Metallica was the most popular band of 2017 in the USA according to Nielsen Music

Market research consultant Nielsen Music says that Metallica has been the most popular band in 2017 in the US. A fact that results, first, that the new album of the metal band, 'Hardwired to self Destruct', has been the second best-selling album of the year although it is 2016, only behind the original soundtrack of the film 'Guardians of the Galaxy 2' with rock classics from such legendary bands as the Electric Light Orchestra, Fleetwood Mac or Cheap Trick.

Metallica will perform four shows in Spain and Portugal: two in Madrid, one in Barcelona and another show in Lisboa. The tickets for the Metallica shows were sold out instantly.

The second fact that Metallica is the most popular group of the past year is that combining all the musical platforms: paid music, streams, downloads ... It is the group with the most demand from users, also partly due to the reissue of luxury of its emblematic album 'Master of Puppets' of 1986.
