Paul McCartney will lead the Glastonbury 2020

Paul McCartney will be the headliner of the 50th anniversary of Glastonbury to be held from June 24 to 28 in southwest England, in Worthy Farm, as confirmed by the organization of the festival last Monday. Specifically, McCartney will step the Pyramid Stage, the biggest stage of the event, on June 27, 2020 with 78 years.

The former Beatle performed for the last time at the music festival in 2004, he sang songs from his solo career, the Beatles and the Wings. The 135,000 tickets available for the festival sold out in half an hour when they went on sale last October.

In addition to Paul McCartney, Glastonbury has also confirmed the performance of the no less legendary Diana Ross among other names yet to be announced.
