Neneh Cherry, Sangraït in symphonic version or the Natalia Tena actress (Game of Thrones, Harry Potter...) group, between the Acústica 2015 highlighs

The Acústica Festival 2015 will be held from 27th to 30th August in five stages around the popular Dalí Museum in the town of Figueres (Girona, Catalonia-Spain). In its fourteenth edition, the international star is the Swedish Neneh Cherry. The organizers expects about 90,000 people to enjoy the concerts.

Most are free and will be on the stages of La Rambla, Catalunya Square, Josep Pla Square and more intimate & payment in the Gala Salvador Dalí Square and the Municipal Theatre El Jardí, trying to maintain a difficult balance between large popular &amplified concerts and acoustic & small format that give name to the festival.

Another curiosity of this year will be the presence of actress Natalia Tena, known for her roles in 'Game of Thrones',' Harry Potter 'or '10, 000 km', performing with the group Molotov Jukebox where he sings and plays accordion and play styles like swing, Latin, calypso or tropical rhythms.

However, the fillers of the Acústica Festival ara catalonian artists. In this edition highlights the premiere of the show 'Sangtraït Symphony' with two consecutive dates, with Quim Mandado, Los Guardians del Pont (LGP) and the Chamber Orchestra of Empordà make versions with new arrangements of Sangtraït songs, reference group of Catalan rock hard during the nineties, as did Scorpions and Metallica orchestrating their songs.

The presence of the actress Aina Clotet, very popular in Catalonia, in the acoustic concert of Joan Dausà at Gala Dalí Square, has been confirmed lately. The actress has collaborated with the singer & pianist in the video 'On seràs demà?' and during the performance of Dausà will recite texts by Salvador Dalí.

Veteran Companyia Elèctrica Dharma commemorate its 40 years of experience this 2015. And this year, Ovidi Montllor year, Toti Soler -guitarist of Ovidi-, Gemma Humet and Joan Massotkleiner will honor the disappeared Játiva’s singer with the show 'Ovidi, poemes sense acabar’.

Among the other groups that fill the festival are Dover, repeating, and some of the most popular in Catalonia like Els Catarres, Els Amics de les Arts, Blaumut, Mishima, Projecte Mut and Joan Miquel Oliver presenting ‘Pegasus’, his new solo album, after the dissolution of Antònia Font, Maïa Vidal-author of the song of the summer 'Vale'-, Delafé y Las Flores Azules and Anna Roig i l'Ombre de Ton Chien celebrates its first decade on stage as will Mazoni.

Among the new groups that are presented at the festival are the soul of Marina Bbface & The Beatroots, singer of the disappeared The Pepper Pots, the young singer Núria Graham, the folkers Germà Negre, Màia poppers, the singer Joan Rovira, Medusa Box –Intro competition winners or Trau (Sona9 competition winners) among others acts.
