Carnival of Roses 2018: La Mitjanit, La Banda del Coche Rojo, La Loca Histèria...

Roses (Girona, Catalonia-Spain) will celebrate its Carnival 2018 from Thursday 8 to Monday 12 February. There will perform in the town of the Costa Brava groups such as Mitjanit Orchestra, La Banda del Coche Rojo, La Loca Histèria, Hey! Pachucos or la Principal de la Bisbal orchestra.

10:00 pm - Parade of Welcome to the Carnival King by the Ociart Percussion Band. Tour from Plaça Catalunya to Frederic Rahola Square.

22:30 h - Arrival of the Carnival King to the tent of Frederic Rahola Square.

Next, dance with the cover band La Loca Histeria and Dj music.

Friday, 9 February 2018

9:00 p.m. - Friday pass, along Rhode Avenue.

23:30 h - Concerts with bands Hey! Pachucos and Orchestra La Mitjanit, in the tent of the Frederic Rahola square.

13:00 - Paella popular, in the Municipal Sports Pavilion (tickets are purchased at the Tourism Office).

6:30 pm - Funeral procession of the deceased Carnival King, burial of the sardine and pyrotechnic spectacle. Tour from Plaza Catalunya to La Perola.
