Lapsus Festival 2018: Hans-Joachim Roedelius, D'Arcangelo, Craig Leon, Lee Gamble...

The Lapsus reaches its fifth edition. The electronic music festival will be held on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 April at the CCCB-day- and in the new venue Laut, in the Poble Sec of Barcelona, ​​at night.

In the 2018 edition, the legendary Hans-Joachin Rodelius, creator along with Dieter Moebius and Michael Rother of a krautrock sound reference band from the '70s in Germany, Harmonia, will perform. Also creator of projects of great importance as Kluster, has worked side by side with Brian Eno, Holger Czukay (Can) or Peter Baumann (Tangerine Dream). He is one of the pioneers of electronic music and will present his new show 'In this moment' at the CCCB.

The festival will also feature the participation of the Italian duo D'Arcangelo, of great influence during the mid-'90s, helped define the IDM; Craig Leon, producer of Ramones' first album, will perform his avant-garde electronic disc 'Nommos' (1981) inspired by the Dogon culture and with an industrial and kraut sound; Deena Abdelwahed, Tunisian DJ, mixes Arab and techno music, challenging conventions within electronic music; Defled, the Manacorí (Balearic Islands) Pere Canovas, will do a six-hour set on Saturday at the Teatro del Raval (CCCB) designed for Lapsus; Gacha Bakradze, from Tbisili (Georgia), develops a highly charged emotional music, captivating melodies and exotic instruments; Island In The Sun is Pedro Vian's new project and will be presented with a show halfway between Live and Dj Set or Lee Gamble, who a couple of years ago performed at the MIRA Festival with a show that combined images and data of the European Space Agency to recreate invented landscapes, will present an AV set designed to mislead the viewer with perfectly designed interference or stroboscopic effects.

There will also perform at Lapsus 2018 Minor Science (techno, electro, UK Bass ...), N.M.O. (Military Danceable Space Music and / or Fluxus Techno), NYEM (kuduro, tuki, reggaeton, dancehall, Dembow ... Dance on the floor), Philip Sherburne (the music journalist is also a DJ and producer, will perform in b2b format with Tutu ), Photay (beatmaker), Renick Bell (live coding and algorithmic musical composition), Rrucculla (Izaskun González, young beat talent with influences from Four Tet and Flying Lotus) and Nic Tasker (leading figure on the London electronic music scene during the last five years).
