Rosalía publishes her first song in Catalan: 'Milionària (Millionaire)'

Rosalía surprised everyone with an advertising campaign in the paper press announcing a new single named 'F * cking Money Man'. A new work and video composed of two songs: 'Milionària' -in Catalan- and 'Dio$ No$ Libre Del Dinero'.

In the video of 'Milionària’, the artist of Sant Esteve de Sesrovires (Baix Llobregat) simulates competing on a television contest and sings in Catalan –she is Catalan native speaker- for much of the song. She also uses English and Spanish. An excessive vindication of money with trap style: "Let me close the Louvre as well as Macba", she says in the video.

Rosalía is one of the best known artists around the world and the impact of this song in Catalan, around the world, can only be compared to when Shakira made a version of 'Boig per tu (Crazy for you)' by Sau.

The other song of the single, 'Dio$ No$ Libre Del Dinero', is the antithesis of voracious consumerism of 'Milionària'. It is sung in Spanish and it is of a flamenco-pop style.
