Seventeen cancels his European tour due to the coronavirus

Much is being said lately about the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona because of the losses of important brands such as LG, Ericcson or Sony among others, companies that have canceled their participation in the most important mobile congress in the world to avoid compromising to its workers despite the battery of measures that the City Council and the Generalitat de Catalunya have announced.

Now it is the turn of the musical tours, the South Korean Seventeen band has announced in a statement that it cancels its European tour 'Ode to You' that was going to go through London-March 8-, Paris-March 5-, Berlin -10 March- and Madrid -3 March.

“The safety and health of artists, audience and workers are our top priority. We have decided to prevent any damage, for this reason, we regret to announce that the following dates of the world tour of February and March have been canceled”, said the statement. In addition to the European dates, the Kuala Lumpur concert on February 22 and the Taipei concert on February 29 have also been canceled.

This is the first major European tour, located in large pavilions, which has been canceled but in Asia is always like this since the coronavirus break, especially in China, where concerts of the National Orchestra have been canceled, also big names of K-pop like iKON, V.O.S, GOT7 or A.C.E. In Singapore almost all the concerts of the first half of the year have been postponed.
