Sleaford Mods, Julia Jacklin and Fontaines D.C., to Vida Festival 2019

The Vida Festival has announced a new group of bands that will perform in its next edition, from July 4 to 6, led by the English Sleaford Mods. It is a Nottingham duo of abrasive 'electro-punk-hop' music that deals with issues of the working class such as unemployment, capitalism or modern life. They claim to have influences from the Wu-Tang Clan, Stone Roses or Black Metal.

At the Vilanova y la Geltrú festival –seaside, near Barcelona-, there will also perform the Australian singer-songwriter Julia Jacklin (indie, pop, country ...) or the Dubliners Fontaines D.C. (rock'n roll, garage). The new additions are completed by Miqui Puig & ACP and Egosex (trance jungle blues) with clear roots of African music.

Previously, the Vida Festival 2019 had confirmed the performances of Madness, Beirut, Hot Chip, The Charlatans, Sharon Van Etten, Superchunk, Él mató a un policía motorizado, Joan Colomo, Didirri, Stella Donnelly and Carla.
