Vieilles Charrues 2019: Tears For Fears, Booba, Iggy Pop ...

The Vieilles Charrues de Carhaix, in French Brittany, is the most massive musical festival in the Gallic country - and one of the largest in Europe - which expects to receive more than 200,000 attendees from Thursday 18 to Sunday 21 July.

In the festival's musical poster are artists such as Tears For Fears, Iggy Pop, rapper Booba, Aya Nakamura, Skunk Anansie, Nile Rodgers & Chic, The Chainsmokers, Jean Added, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Black Eyed Peas, Balthazar, David Guetta, Christine and the Queens, Zazie ... In total there will be 81 musical groups that play rock, pop, urban music, chanson, electronic or funk.

The forecast weather is not entirely positive for the 28th edition of the festival, it could rain heavily on Friday night and hit the performances of Iggy Pop or Aya Nakamura, according to 'La Chaîne Météo'.

The concerts will take place in the huge esplanade of Kerampuilh, almost 100,000 square meters. Security is a priority for the Vieilles Charrues, whether against attacks or violations, and will have 750 guards, 20 surveillance cameras and a point to serve victims of sexual assault.
