The Wacken 2019, sold out almost a year before its celebration

For many years the Wacken Open Air (W: O: A) has sold out all its tickets  but this date has fallen back to the point that it has sold out all its tickets for its next edition ... Ten days after its previous edition!

Each Wacken is special for heavy metal fans, a Mecca that must be visited at least once in a lifetime, but its next edition promises to be very special. It will be its 30th anniversary and the musical bill is expected to be impressive, although for the heavy metal fan, the most impressive aspect of the festival is the unique atmosphere that is experienced in this legendary event. Heavies from all over the world-literally-come together in this festival, lost among cow fields in the middle of Germany.

The festival also warned users to not buying resale tickets in 'marketplaces' such as Viagogo or eBay among other platforms and that they are not responsible for possible scams that the user may suffer.

On the other hand, it has been confirmed that the news that two elderly people had disappeared from their residence and had found them at the festival is erroneous, a mistake of translating from German into English. Actually they were not such old people and they had only gone lost near the festival but they had not entered. It is almost impossible to find tickets for the Wacken when it is being held.
