One of the most emblematic flamenco venues in Madrid closes. The tablao has failed to pass the Covid-19 times.
Casa Patas has closed definitively according to the magazine ‘Deflamenco’. The venerable Madrid tablao had closed on March 13 due to the measures imposed by the Government to stop the Covid-19 pandemic but it will not open again. What will survive will be the Casa Patas Conservatory Foundation, which will reopen in Phase 2, according to the aforementioned media.
The venue, located in the center of Madrid, is an indisputable reference in the world of flamenco that carried out performances of the genre in a separate room from the dining room, favoring attention over the show, and not mixing it as entertainment during the service.
