Christian Löffler is a German musician, producer, and visual artist whose unique blend of melancholic electronic music has garnered him international acclaim. Born in 1985 near Greifswald, Germany, Löffler developed an interest in the arts early on, often painting and experimenting with sounds in his youth. His music style is characterized by its emotive depth, merging elements of ambient, techno, and house with organic textures and atmospheric layers that evoke a sense of longing and introspection.

Löffler founded his own label, Ki Records, in 2009 as a platform to release his work independently and to collaborate with other like-minded artists. His 2012 debut album A Forest captured attention for its ethereal, haunting quality, featuring tracks that embody his signature minimalistic yet emotionally resonant sound. This album was inspired by the natural landscapes surrounding his home on the Baltic Sea, where he still lives and creates. Nature and solitude continue to be central themes in his music, often reflecting a desire for simplicity and introspection.

Following A Forest, Löffler released Mare in 2016, furthering his exploration of gentle beats layered with piano, strings, and vocal samples. In recent years, albums like Lys (2020) and Parallels (2021) show his evolution, with the latter being a reinterpretation of classical pieces by composers such as Bach and Beethoven, blending electronic production with timeless compositions.

Apart from music, Löffler is an accomplished visual artist, frequently designing his own album covers and incorporating his paintings into live performances.
