Biography
Clarence Bekker treasures the virtue of reaching the soul of everyone who listens. With a deep, magnetic and vibrant voice, he dignifies the repertoire of the great masters of soul, funk and pop history. In his long career, he has played with bands such as 08001 and has achieved such famous successes as recording a version of "Stand by Me" with millions of reproductions on the net, or participating in the international project Playing for Change. He has also toured half the world and recorded a celebrated album, 'Changes' (Jazz Activist, 2020), which confirms him as one of the great soul, funk and r&b proposals of our time.
