Biography
Haleigh Martin is an up-and-coming progressive country and blues artist and songwriter from Kentucky. Immersed in country music from an early age, she developed a deep connection to its storytelling tradition, which, combined with her affinity for blues, has shaped her distinctive musical voice. Her sound is characterized as soulful and stompy, blending raw energy with emotional depth and a subtle edge, while her personal style is described as warm, ethereal, and inviting.
Martin has been singing since childhood and began learning guitar at the age of seven. By twelve, she was writing her own songs, laying the foundation for a career defined by artistic independence and creative control. Now 26 years old, she has independently released all of her music, maintaining full involvement in every aspect of its creation—from songwriting and performance to recording and production.
In 2021, Martin moved to Nashville to further immerse herself in the heart of the country music scene. Since then, she has become a regular performer across the Midwest, touring and playing live shows in Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri. Her dedication to her craft and her dynamic stage presence have earned her a growing audience and critical recognition within the regional music circuit.
Currently, Martin is working on new music with producer Jesse Grisham at Arcsea Studio, marking a continued evolution in her sound and artistic vision.
