Biography

The Jonas Brothers are an American pop rock band formed in 2005, consisting of brothers Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas. Originating from Wyckoff, New Jersey, they relocated to Little Falls, New Jersey, where they developed their early music and eventually signed with Hollywood Records. The band gained significant attention through their association with the Disney Channel, starring in the successful 2008 film Camp Rock and its sequel, as well as their own TV series, Jonas (later renamed Jonas L.A.).

The Jonas Brothers released their debut album It's About Time in 2006, followed by five more albums: Jonas Brothers (2007), A Little Bit Longer (2008), Lines, Vines and Trying Times (2009), Happiness Begins (2019), and The Album (2023). Their music journey has been marked by commercial success, with notable milestones including a Best New Artist nomination at the 51st Grammy Awards and a Breakthrough Artist win at the American Music Awards in 2008.

After releasing four albums, the band took a hiatus in 2010 to pursue individual projects but reunited in 2012. However, they announced their official breakup in 2013 before the release of their planned fifth album, V. Six years later, they made a comeback with the hit single "Sucker," which debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming their first chart-topping single. Their fifth studio album, Happiness Begins, was released in 2019, debuting at number one on the US Billboard 200.

Their sixth studio album, The Album, was released on May 12, 2023, featuring the singles "Waffle House" and "Wings." This album, produced by Jon Bellion, continues to showcase their evolution as artists while maintaining the signature sound that has defined their career.

Throughout their history, the Jonas Brothers have also been active in acting, notably starring in Camp Rock and its sequel, and the Disney Channel series Jonas. Their contributions to pop culture and music have made them enduring figures in the entertainment industry, with a dedicated fanbase and a legacy that continues to influence new generations.
