Biography
Walk Off The Earth is a Canadian indie pop band known for their innovative cover songs and viral music videos. Formed in 2006 in Burlington, Ontario, the band consists of members Gianni "Luminati" Nicassio, Sarah Blackwood, and Joel Cassady, with past members including Mike "Beard Guy" Taylor, who passed away in 2018, and Ryan Marshall, who departed in 2019. The group gained global recognition in 2012 after releasing a unique cover of Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know," featuring all five members playing a single guitar simultaneously. The video amassed millions of views within days, catapulting them to internet fame.

Walk Off The Earth's musical style is a blend of pop, rock, reggae, and folk influences, characterized by their creative use of unconventional instruments and multi-instrumental talents.
