Biography

Iron Maiden is a British heavy metal band formed in 1975 by bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris. The group is widely considered one of the pioneers of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) movement and remains one of the most successful and influential bands in heavy metal history. Throughout their career, they have sold over 100 million albums worldwide, released numerous chart-topping albums, and performed in more than 60 countries. Their music is marked by complex compositions, galloping bass lines, and vivid storytelling, often drawing inspiration from history, mythology, literature, and contemporary events.
