Sant Joan Despí is getting ready to celebrate its 2026 Festa Major from June 18 to 24 with a diverse musical programme that will bring together Catalan pop, rock, flamenco, family shows, tribute concerts and open-air performances across the city. Music will once again play a central role in the festivities, with events taking place in parks, squares and cultural venues throughout the week.
The Tyets Lead the Programme
The biggest concert of the festival will take place on Saturday, June 20, at Parc de la Fontsanta, where The Tyets will perform as part of their Cafè pels més cafeteros tour.
The Mataró duo has become one of the most successful acts in Catalan music thanks to hits such as Coti x Coti and Tàndem. Their energetic blend of urban pop, catchy melodies and festival-ready anthems is expected to draw one of the largest crowds of the week. The night will continue with a party set by DJ Enka.
Greta Opens the Main Concert Weekend
On Friday, June 19, the Parc de la Fontsanta stage will welcome Greta, one of the most promising emerging artists on the Catalan scene. Known for her introspective songwriting and experimental approach, Greta combines emotional depth with contemporary sounds. The evening will continue with a set from Anna Gisbert DJ, who will bring a mix of urban music, electronic beats and dancefloor favourites.
Rock fans will have several opportunities to enjoy live music during the festival. Les Que Faltaband, an all-female eight-piece group, will perform on June 19 at Plaça de l'Ermita with a repertoire ranging from 1980s pop-rock classics to current chart hits. The same evening, the annual RockDespí Night will feature performances by Rockin'Ladies, Minoría and Last Soul, offering a mix of classic rock, hard rock and blues influences. On June 20, Big Mouthers will bring their high-energy rock show to Plaça de l'Ermita.
Flamenco and Andalusian Culture
The Festival Flamenco organised by the Centro Cultural Andaluz Vicente Aleixandre will take place on June 20 at Plaça del Mercat. The event will include dance performances and a live concert by Relente, celebrating Andalusian culture and contemporary flamenco traditions.
Habaneras and Traditional Sounds
The official opening day, June 18, will feature a performance by Pescadors de l'Escala, one of Catalonia's best-known habanera groups. Their concert at Plaça del Mercat will follow the opening speech delivered by comedian and impersonator Pep Plaza, combining maritime songs and the traditional rom cremat atmosphere.
A Tribute to Nino Bravo
On June 21, Serafín Zubiri will present his show Nino Bravo en Esencia at Plaça del Mercat. Accompanied by his band, Zubiri will revisit the timeless songs of the legendary Spanish singer, offering a nostalgic journey through one of the most beloved repertoires in Spanish pop music.
There will also have the opportunity to enjoy a performance by Los Mustang on June 24. The legendary Barcelona band, famous for introducing international pop and rock hits to Spanish audiences during the 1960s, will perform many of the songs that defined a generation.
The final major concert of the festival will be Versión Imposible on June 24 at Parc de la Fontsanta. Led by showman David Moreno, the production combines live music, vocal impersonations, humour and audience interaction in a celebration of popular music from different eras. The performance will serve as the lead-in to the traditional Piromusical Fireworks Show, which will officially close Sant Joan Despí Festival 2026.
The Tyets lead a varied Festa Major line-up in Sant Joan Despí, with pop, rock, flamenco, habaneras and fireworks.
