Valladolid will celebrate the 2026 Ferias y Fiestas de la Virgen de San Lorenzo with ten consecutive nights of free concerts in Plaza Mayor, running from September 4 to 13. The programme moves between contemporary pop, indie rock, heavy metal, electronic flamenco and traditional styles, with Ronnie Wood and Imelda May providing its principal international attraction and Judeline, Rusowsky, Carlos Baute, Carolina Durante, Ana Guerra and Leire Martínez among the major Spanish names.

The festivities will begin on Friday, September 4, after local band Siloé delivers the opening proclamation and the traditional launch of the celebrations. Carmen Sánxez will open the musical programme before the Super Cristongo Flower Power party brings together Marlena, DJ Nano, Los del Lío, Los Daza, Mr. Kitos and Las Doñas. Away from Plaza Mayor, the opening evening will also include the PucelaRock festival at Playa de las Moreras, led by Juantxo Skalari & La Rude Band and further guest artists.

One of Spain’s most closely watched young performers will take over Plaza Mayor on Saturday, September 5. Sandra Promis, winner of Demo Express 2025, will perform first, followed at 11 pm by Judeline, whose atmospheric combination of contemporary pop, flamenco references and electronic production has made her one of the fastest-rising artists in the country. That evening will also include electronic and visual-art event ARDE’26 at Museo Patio Herreriano and the Pucela Heavy-Rock Fest, featuring Induction, Grave Noise, Kubika and Judas Resurrection at Playa de las Moreras.

Rock history will dominate Sunday, September 6, when local group Cianóticas Perdidas opens for two veteran Spanish bands. Burning, led by Johnny Cifuentes and active since the 1970s, will perform at 9 pm before Obús brings its classic heavy-metal repertoire to the square at 10.45 pm. The wider programme that day also includes the Proyecto 47 hip-hop gathering at Las Moreras, with DJ Shaweed, Pucela Flava, AdricG, Xtento, MMOE23, Kheis Hodgkin, KPI, Walk, Estado Cuerdo, Zake and Kaos 007 among its participants.

Valladolid-born producer and singer Rusowsky will return home on Monday, September 7, following an opening appearance by local rapper Erik Urano. Rusowsky arrives after a period of growing international visibility, including a performance at Coachella, and will bring his unconventional blend of alternative pop, electronic music and experimental production to Plaza Mayor at 10 pm. Elsewhere, Helena Bianco will perform with the Valladolid Municipal Music School’s band and choir, while Moreras Beach Fest will extend the night with a large programme of local DJs.

Carlos Baute will headline the patron saint’s day on Tuesday, September 8, returning to the city seventeen years after his previous appearance during the festivities. Before his concert, young performers from the Todas las Estrellas competition will take the stage. Baute’s catalogue of Latin pop and romantic hits, including the enduring “Colgando en tus manos”, is expected to make this one of the most heavily attended nights of the celebrations. Playa de las Moreras will meanwhile host Lorencito Fest, with Faenna, Sofía Gabanna, Zake and other urban artists.

Electronic flamenco will shape the following night. Valladolid DJ Paco Devotion will open the Plaza Mayor programme on September 9, followed by Bego Martín and Mëstiza. The latter duo have built their identity around a fusion of club production, flamenco vocals and percussion, notably developed on their debut album Quëreles. Their performance will offer one of the sharpest changes of atmosphere in a programme that otherwise leans strongly towards pop and guitar music.

The major international event arrives on Thursday, September 10, when Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood performs with Irish singer Imelda May. Wood is expected to draw on material connected to The Rolling Stones, Faces and his solo career, while May brings a voice and repertoire rooted in rockabilly, blues, jazz and soul. Valladolid composer MAREF will open the evening, giving a local artist a prominent place before one of the most significant international bookings in the recent history of the city’s festivities.

Friday, September 11, belongs to Madrid indie-rock band Carolina Durante, whose direct songwriting and sharp portraits of contemporary life have made the group one of Spain’s most popular guitar acts. Bravo Maldonado will open the Plaza Mayor programme before Carolina Durante performs at 11 pm. The parallel Moreras Beach Fest will offer live music and DJs through the night, while the city’s traditional fireworks programme continues at Caño Hondo.

Ana Guerra and Leire Martínez will share the main stage on Saturday, September 12. Guerra will perform at 9.30 pm, followed by Martínez at 11 pm, in a double concert representing two different generations of Spanish mainstream pop and two careers initially brought to national attention through television music competitions. The same evening will also include Festidagas 2026, featuring Alfredo Piedrafita, Malos Vicios, Xpresidentx and Agresiva, as well as a LOS40 and LOS40 Urban event at Las Moreras.

The Plaza Mayor concerts will conclude on Sunday, September 13, with Pura Verdad Flamenco. El Pérrez will open the night before Kiki Morente, Lin Cortés, Enrique Heredia “Negri”, Sandra Carrasco and dancer Belén López join forces for a closing production that approaches flamenco through song, dance and contemporary arrangements. It will provide a traditional but expansive finale after ten nights ranging from indie pop and hard rock to electronic music and international rhythm and blues.
