Five years have passed since the last time we saw them live in Spain, and the wait is finally over. Again, Red Hot Chili Peppers will hit the stage of the Barclaycard Center in Madrid, on September 27th and 28th, and the Palau Sant Jordi of Barcelona, on October 1st and 2nd. First show in Madrid is already sold-out. Tickets for the other shows are on sale via doctormusic.com and ticketmaster.es. Also at Fnac, Viajes Carrefour and Halcón Viajes, by calling 902 15 00 25 and from other Ticketmaster outlets. Ticket prices for Madrid are 50, 65, 75 and 90 Euros for reserved seats, and 65 Euros for GA. For Barcelona ticket prices are 50, 60, 65 and 90 Euros for reserved seats, and 65 Euros for GA, too (booking fees not included). There will be a maximum of 6 tickets permitted per purchase. The album was produced by Danger Mouse and mixed by Nigel Godrich. This is the band’s eleventh studio album. The first single from the album, “Dark Necessities”, is currently available around the world via all digital retailers. For all their fans, in this tour every ticket purchased for Madrid and Barcelona will include a code to get a standard physical or standard digital copy of their new album, The Getaway, from June 17th. One of the most successful acts in rock history, Red Hot Chili Peppers, which is singer Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith, and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, have sold more than 60 million albums, including five multi-platinum LPs, and won six Grammy Awards, including "Best Rock Album" for Stadium Arcadium, "Best Rock Performance By a Duo or Group" for "Dani California," "Best Rock Song" for "Scar Tissue," and "Best Hard Rock Performance With Vocal" for "Give It Away."
