The Esperanzah returns with Manu Chao, Fermin Muguruza, Gatillazo & Los Chikos del Maíz

The Esperanzah Festival returns to the Nou Park in El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona) in its sixth edition. The event will take place from 16 to 18 October at south of San Cosme neighborhood, with camping for three nights. There will play artists such Manu Chao La Ventura for second consecutive year, Fermin Muguruza and the Japanese band Tex & Sun Flower Seed, The Troba Kung-Fu, Gatillazo –Evaristo from La Polla Records-, Los Chikos del Maiz -hip hop with a strong social attitude and combative tone-, Aspencat -ska, reggae, drum & bass ...- Zoo, Amparo Sánchez-positive music-, Dubioza Kolectiv –music from the Balkans-, Dremen or funkies San Machango among other groups.

The Esperanzah has a strong altercultural tone and is subtitled this year, Party of Solidarity Economy. It invites the assistant to boogie with the names mentioned and think in spaces such 'The People of the Possible' where it can be seen projects and ideas of social transformation aimed to a more human economy is. Part of the proceeds from the festival will go to social and labor projects from the district of San Cosme.

Moreover, on Sunday October 18 The Red Tent will open. A women-only space which "is a sacred space that is conceived by its creators as a magic womb. In it, women of all ages, with all its shapes and colors, will always be accepted with respect and absolute love. The power healer of red tents comes from the purity, grace and infinite confidence emanating from the Holy Spirit for Women.
