Chenoa, Els Catarres and Amelie, in the Corpus 2016 Festival in Cornellà de Llobregat

On Thursday May 26 begins the Corpus 2016 Festival in Cornellà de Llobregat and the city will receive until May 29, bands like Els Catarres, Chenoa, Amelie and Xuso Jones or Fundación Tony Manero among other artists.

On Thursday May 26 will perform El Mono Azul and Calet (covers) in the Rosa Sensat Park from 23.00. It will be a good warmup for what will happen the next days.

The festival will continue on Friday May 27 with the Cobla Ciutat de Cornellà sardana's in the Plaza de Lluís Companys -19.00 hours- and in the tent of Corpus, Singing Festival Cornellà 'Corncanta 2016' - from 20.00 hours-. Tropicana Orchestra will give a concert for elderly people in the Can Mercader Park -from 21.00 hours- and Metropol Orchestra will be on stage at Plaza Catalunya -since 22.30 hours-. Maria Cambray will perform at the Rosa Sensat Park -from 22.00 hours- and Balkumbia at 00.00.

However, it is expected that the most crowded concert will be on Friday with the bands Amelie, Xuso Jones and Aina on stage at the Parc Esportiu Llobregat Parking -since 22.00 hours-.

Saturday May 28 will begin with folk performances such as Galician Festival in the Can Mercader Park -from 18.00 hours- with bagpipes and dance school Toxos and Xestas, Bagpipe Band Senior Rosalia de Castro, Group ballroom dancing Rosalia de Castro, Cornellà for Women and dance Group and Bagpipes Rosalia de Castro. Also at the headquarters of the Andalusian Association Children of Almáchar (Florida Street, 38) will be held the XXX Contest rumbas and sevillanas -since 18.00 hours-.

At Rosa Sensat Park will perform the band Ran Ran Ran -since 22.30 hours- and Fundación Tony Manero -from 00.30 hours-.

The concert of the day will be led by Chenoa and Molly Varlet from 22.30 on Plaza Catalunya stage.

Sunday May 29 will not rest in Cornella de Llobregat, will be one of the most crowded days with the performance by Els Catarres and Círculo Rojo on stage -Plaza Catalunya from 19.00 hours-.

This day will be other popular performances as the habanera and rum burned with Els Pirates -Plaza San Ildefonso, 19:00 hours-, performances by groups in the Galician Party in the Can Mercader Park -from 12.00 hours-, Cobla Vila de Olesa at the Church Square -from 18.30 hours- or choral concert by Coral Illusion AV of Miranda and rum burned tasting at Pare Lleonard Square -from 19.30 hours-.

The alternative party will be held on Thursday, May 26 -since 23.00 hours- with performances by Ebolas, SG and THC in the car park of the RENFE.
