Inés Bayo, original singer of Los Fresones Rebeldes, dies

Inés Bayo, original singer of Los Fresones Rebeldes and a native of the Les Corts neighborhood of Barcelona, has died at age 45 last Friday without revealing the reasons for her death. The singer is the voice of ‘Al Amanecer’, one of the best-known Spanish pop songs of the 1990s.

Both Inés and her sister were in the group during their peak years, between 1995 and 1998, when the song ‘Al Amanecer’ became their great big hit.

After the two left the band, they formed a couple of projects on their same pop wave: Los Popov and Los Soberanos. Later, Ines would put her voice on tours of The Fresones Rebeldes.
