L.E.V. Festival 2024: Aïsha Devi, Myriam Bleau + Nien Tzu Weng, Martin Messier...

The L.E.V. will be held from May 1 to 5 in various locations in the city of Gijón. The festival will give special importance to audiovisual performances and musical performances and, for this reason, has announced the first names on its bill such as the video installation 'The Third Reich' by Romeo Castellucci at the Teatre de la Laboral with sound by Scott Gibbons .

Aïsha Devi heads the program at La Laboral presenting her latest work 'Death is Home', which mixes influences from shamanism, physics or the Vedic scriptures. Also of note is the project by digital artist Myriam Bleu in collaboration with choreographer Nien Tzu Weng, a work in which the bodies wear LED touch screens that interact with sound and visual elements of the performance.

Martin Messier, regular at the Laboratorio de Electrónica Visual, will present his new project '1 drop 1000 years' which deals with the ocean currents that regulate the planet's climate and that are slowing down due to human activity.

Also performing will be Riccardo Giovinetto, audiovisual performance F E M I N A in which AI and madrigals overlap; also Bromo's latest work, CRISPR the pattern of life, a reflection on the latest advances in biotechnology; Evian Christ, English music programmer founder of Tranceparty, presenting 'Revanchist'; the composer RRUCCULLA, presenting 'Zeru Freq'; the French artist Jacques and his new show 'Videochose', an amalgamation of Youtube videos, everyday...; Sin Maldita will present Aelcrush. LCY, Puce Mary and Cachito Turulo complete the line-up on Thursday.
