Sant Boi celebrates Festa Major 2026 with music

Alizzz, Miki Núñez and Seguridad Social headline a vibrant lineup blending pop, urban, rock and local talent

🗞️ Published: 5 May 2026 · Updated: 5 May 2026

Sant Boi de Llobregat is ready to come alive as its Festa Major returns from May 15 to 17, with an additional festive day on May 20 in honor of Sant Baldiri. Across streets, squares and parks, the city will once again blend tradition, culture and live music into a shared experience that defines the local identity.

With major stages at Carrer Baldiri Aleu and Plaça de l’Agricultura, the musical program brings together big names, emerging voices and local acts, creating a lineup that moves fluidly between pop, urban, rock and electronic sounds.

May 15 – Opening night: big names and local pulse

The festival kicks off with a powerful mix of tradition and contemporary sound. After the official opening speech and a classic Festa Major ball with Orquestra Selvatana, the night quickly shifts into concert mode.

Alizzz takes center stage at Carrer Baldiri Aleu, presenting the final shows of his Temeraria tour — a project that fuses pop, rock and electronics with emotional depth and sharp production.

At Plaça de l’Agricultura, Seguridad Social celebrate over 40 years of career with their unmistakable “Mediterranean rock,” blending ska, reggae and rock into timeless hits like Chiquilla.

The night expands across the city with multiple stages:

Jo Ni Cas bring raw rock & roll, soul and blues energy
Les Que Faltaband deliver a high-impact, all-female live show
DJ Carla Nisha and DJ Romero push the party into late-night territory with urban and club sounds

Meanwhile, the Nit Knaya at Cal Ninyo dives into Sant Boi’s underground scene, celebrating the city’s alternative nightlife culture.

May 16 – Pop, urban beats and collective energy

Saturday builds momentum with one of the most accessible and festive nights of the weekend.

Miki Núñez headlines at Baldiri Aleu, bringing his charismatic pop anthems and feel-good energy. Songs like Escriurem and La venda turn the concert into a collective singalong, perfectly aligned with the spirit of Festa Major.

At Plaça de l’Agricultura, the lineup leans into contemporary sounds:

Vera GVR, one of Spain’s most promising urban voices, delivers a delicate yet forward-thinking performance
Cacho a Cacho ignite the crowd with their energetic tribute to Estopa
Spoty Flight reinterpret classics with a modern twist
DJs like Neus González and Ferry Tihista keep the rhythm going until deep into the night

The day also highlights the role of music as a social connector, with projects like Un Altre Ritme Transforma Camps Blancs, showcasing local talent and community-driven performance.

May 17 – Closing with diversity and celebration

Sunday shifts toward a more transversal and inclusive atmosphere, where music coexists with cultural activities and family-friendly programming.

The day features orchestral and cinematic performances, such as Orquestra A4 Cordes, alongside dance showcases and community performances.

One of the highlights is the flamenco concert by Soleá Morente, presenting Mar en calma, a deeply emotional project connected to the legacy of her father, Enrique Morente.

The evening transitions into a festive closing with Los40 On Tour, a large-scale radio show packed with hits and live entertainment, followed by DJ sessions that stretch into the night.

Finally, the traditional piromusical at Parc de la Muntanyeta brings the celebration to a spectacular close, merging music, light and fireworks into a shared emotional moment.

Beyond concerts: music as community

Beyond the main stages, Festa Major 2026 reinforces its identity as a community-driven celebration.

From swing dances in Plaça de l’Ajuntament to youth rock showcases like Rock’n’Joves, the program highlights both heritage and emerging talent, creating a dialogue between generations.

The festival also emphasizes inclusivity and accessibility, with designated safe spaces, sensory-friendly areas and initiatives to ensure that everyone can take part in the celebration.

From massive open-air concerts to grassroots stages and late-night DJ sessions, Sant Boi turns into a living soundtrack of celebration
