From November 17 to 23, 2025, Milan will once again become the epicenter of Italy’s musical landscape as the Milano Music Week returns for its ninth edition. This year’s theme, “New Generation,” dives deep into the evolving dynamics of contemporary music creation, listening habits, and cultural shifts while emphasizing values such as inclusion, sustainability, mental well-being, and gender equality.
Curated by Nur Al Habash, with special curatorship from rising star Tananai, this year’s program is designed to inspire both industry professionals and music enthusiasts alike. The opening events at the Triennale Theatre set the tone, featuring dialogues on artificial intelligence's role in music alongside exclusive showcases curated by Tananai himself.
Mayor Giuseppe Sala highlighted Milano Music Week’s significance: “Whatever genre you consider, Milan’s cultural identity finds an essential point of reference in music.” Meanwhile, Culture Councillor Tommaso Sacchi emphasized the festival’s role as a platform for connection, innovation, and dialogue—extending even to peripheral neighborhoods through initiatives like Periphonic.
