Hellfest Open Air has announced its gigantic 2026 lineup, revealing more than 180 bands set to storm Clisson, France, from June 18th to 21st. The four-day metal institution—one of Europe’s largest and most influential heavy-music gatherings—returns with a headlining roster topped by Bring Me the Horizon, Iron Maiden, Limp Bizkit, and The Offspring.

As expected, weekend passes sold out almost instantly, even before the lineup was officially unveiled. Fans still hoping to experience the festival’s nineteenth edition can look for resale options or wait for the release of single-day tickets in early 2026.

Hellfest 2026 covers nearly every corner of the rock and metal universe: classic heavy metal, extreme genres, nu-metal’s roaring revival, punk chaos, stoner and sludge atmospheres, and intricate prog and post-metal performances. Across six stages—Mainstage 01, Mainstage 02, Warzone, Valley, Altar, and Temple—the lineup reads like a curated encyclopedia of heavy music.

The festival opens Thursday, June 18th, with Bring Me the Horizon leading a day packed with modern heavyweights including Papa Roach, Breaking Benjamin, and We Came as Romans. Classic titans Deep Purple and Alice Cooper dominate Mainstage 02, while the festival’s trademark diversity shines on the Valley and Temple stages with Kadavar, Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats, Skáld, and Borknagar.

Friday, June 19th, belongs to Iron Maiden. The metal legends headline a stacked day that also includes Helloween’s 40th-anniversary set, Opeth, Sabaton, and Sepultura. Meanwhile, Mastodon, My Dying Bride, Rotting Christ, and a rare performance from The Dillinger Escape Plan ensure the festival’s darker and more experimental sides remain fully represented.

Saturday, June 20th, sees Limp Bizkit take over Mainstage 01, backed by A Perfect Circle, Tom Morello, Static-X, and a massive thrash-dominated second stage featuring Volbeat, Megadeth, Anthrax, and Cavalera’s special Chaos A.D. set. Cult of Luna, Amenra, Deicide, Behemoth, and Obscura amplify the day’s intensity across the remaining stages.

The Offspring close out the festival on Sunday, June 21st, joined by The Hives, Rise Against, Pennywise, Bad Omens, Architects, and Three Days Grace. Down, Acid Bath, Corrosion of Conformity, Napalm Death, Mayhem, and Marduk ensure the final day retains the festival’s signature mix of punk, sludge, death metal, and black-metal ferocity.
