The Under The Black Sun Festival has officially unveiled its final line-up for the 2026 edition, set to take place from July 2 to July 4 at the iconic Freilichtbühne Friesack (Germany). Known for its uncompromising vision and devotion to the underground, the festival once again delivers a carefully curated roster rooted in raw black and death metal.
Leading the charge are essential names such as Helheim, Uada and cult legends Tormentor, joined by Germany’s own Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult, one of the most respected acts in the genre.

This year’s edition highlights the international nature of the underground, with bands arriving from Finland, Norway, Germany, the USA, Australia, Chile, Belarus and beyond. From the occult intensity of Aegrus to the violent assault of NunSlaughter and the atmospheric darkness of Doodswens, the festival promises a relentless sonic journey.
As always, Under The Black Sun stands apart for its authentic underground spirit, avoiding mainstream trends in favor of atmosphere, integrity and extreme sound. Set deep within the forests of Brandenburg, the Freilichtbühne Friesack provides the perfect setting for three days of darkness, ritual and uncompromising metal.
