Legendary gothic rock pioneers The Cure are set to captivate audiences once again with a series of highly anticipated concerts in the summer of 2026. Following their recent festival announcements, the band has revealed four headline shows across the UK and Ireland, promising an unforgettable celebration of their iconic catalog and new material.
A Summer of Music and Nostalgia
Kicking off on June 26, 2026, at Dublin’s scenic Marlay Park, The Cure will embark on a tour that spans both intimate and grand venues. The run continues with a stop at Belsonic in Belfast’s Ormeau Park on June 28, before heading to Manchester’s Live From Wythenshawe Park on August 21. The tour concludes with a performance at the Royal Highland Showgrounds in Edinburgh as part of the Edinburgh Summer Sessions on August 23.
Each show will feature rotating support acts, including Slowdive, Mogwai, The Twilight Sad, Just Mustard, Stella and the Dreaming, and The Slow Readers Club, ensuring a diverse and immersive experience for fans.
Festival Appearances Across Europe
In addition to their standalone shows, The Cure will headline several major European festivals. These include Primavera Sound in Barcelona (June 3–7), Nova Rock in Nickelsdorf, Austria (June 12), the Isle of Wight Festival (June 18–21), and Rock en Seine in Paris (August 30). They have also been confirmed as the first headliner for Norway’s Øyafestivalen, where they are set to perform on August 12.

Tickets for the UK and Ireland shows go on sale on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster and The Cure’s official website. A New Chapter for The Cure
This tour marks a significant moment for The Cure, coming on the heels of their critically acclaimed 2024 album, Songs of a Lost World. The record, which topped the UK Albums Chart and reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200, marked their first full-length release in 16 years. Frontman Robert Smith recently hinted at another potential album release ahead of the tour, describing it as a companion piece to Songs of a Lost World.
Speaking to Radio X, Smith shared: “The companion piece to Songs Of A Lost World, which will be out hopefully before next summer, is what I’m currently finishing. It’s not as dark in some ways, but it has probably the saddest song of all of them on it. It’s more varied, with some completely new stuff that no one’s ever heard.”
A Legacy of Live Performances
Known for their electrifying live shows, The Cure last performed at London’s Troxy in November 2024, delivering an ultra-intimate concert to celebrate the release of Songs of a Lost World. Earlier this year, Smith joined pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo on stage at Glastonbury, where they performed two Cure classics: “Friday I’m in Love” and “Just Like Heaven.”
As ambassadors for the Teenage Cancer Trust, The Cure continues to use their platform to give back. In 2026, Smith will curate a week of concerts at London’s Royal Albert Hall in support of the charity, further cementing the band’s legacy as cultural icons.
A Global Anticipation
With their blend of haunting melodies, introspective lyrics, and timeless energy, The Cure remains one of the most revered bands in rock history. Their 2026 tour promises to deliver not only nostalgia but also fresh material that reflects their enduring creativity.
Whether you’re a lifelong fan or a newcomer to their music, The Cure’s summer 2026 tour is shaping up to be a must-see event. Don’t miss your chance to witness these legends live!
