Bilbao BBK Live will mark its 20th anniversary in 2026 with one of its most ambitious lineups to date, reaffirming its position as a cornerstone of Europe’s summer festival calendar. The three-day event, scheduled for July 9–11 at its iconic hillside venue Kobetamendi, will blend global icons with rising local voices in a celebration of two decades of community, music, and landscape.
British pop legend Robbie Williams—making his festival debut at BBK Live—will headline with his Long 90’s Tour, spotlighting hits from his formative years alongside tracks from his new album Britpop. Joining him as top-billed acts are David Byrne, the visionary behind Talking Heads, returning to the festival after a memorable 2018 performance; Lily Allen, who will present her introspective new record West End Girl in full; and post-punk powerhouse IDLES, known for their electrifying stage presence.
The festival continues its tradition of genre diversity with Alabama Shakes bringing their soul-driven rock, led by Brittany Howard’s commanding vocals, and Interpol reaffirming their status as indie-rock royalty. On the electronic front, Belgian techno pioneer Charlotte de Witte and immersive performer Richie Hawtin (with his DEF EFX XOX show) will anchor a strong dance music offering, complemented by Tomora—a new collaboration between The Chemical Brothers’ Tom Rowlands and singer AURORA—and legendary act Soulwax.
BBK Live also shines a spotlight on narrative-driven pop and folk, with Belle and Sebastian, Irish breakout star CMAT, and Paris Paloma adding emotional depth to the program. Meanwhile, international sounds span from Mali (Fatoumata Diawara) to France (ZAZ) and Italy (Nu Genea Live), reflecting the festival’s global outlook.
Crucially, the 2026 edition reinforces BBK Live’s long-standing commitment to Spanish artists. Pop sensations Dani Fernández and Belén Aguilera, indie mainstay Xoel López, and rural rockers La M.O.D.A. share the stage with boundary-pushing newcomers like BB Trickz, Ralphie Choo, Juicy BAE, and AMORE. Flamenco innovator Yerai Cortés, post-punk act Depresión Sonora, noise-pop duo Las Petunias, and experimental group Cervatana further illustrate the breadth of the national scene.
The festival’s visual identity for this milestone year features Sumendi, a custom typeface inspired by Basque signage, and the return of the wolf—its enduring symbol—perched atop Kobetamendi as a tribute to two decades of shared musical experience.
Organizers emphasized that the anniversary is both a homage to loyal attendees and a reaffirmation of BBK Live’s ongoing mission. “This edition celebrates the community that has made BBK Live what it is,” said festival communications head Itxaso Hernández. “It’s about connection—to music, to each other, and to this unique natural setting.”
Ticket sales begin with an exclusive pre-sale for past attendees, followed by fan registration and general sale on December 17, 2025. Camping and youth pricing options remain available, underscoring the festival’s accessibility and community spirit.
