Bordeaux Rock will celebrate a major milestone in 2026, marking 20 years of Rock en Ville with an expanded, citywide edition on March 12 and 13. The anniversary format brings together 40 Bordeaux-based bands across seven alternative venues in the city centre, reaffirming the festival’s long-standing commitment to grassroots culture and independent music.
Conceived as a déambulatory festival, Rock en Ville transforms central Bordeaux into a living circuit of concerts, inviting audiences to move freely between venues and styles. Participating spaces this year include L’Avant Scène, Archipop Records, L’Ether, Redcat, The Grizzly Pub, Le Pulp and Maison Allez Les Filles, each hosting multiple showcases per night. With early starts and overlapping schedules, attendees can catch up to seven performances in a single evening.
The two-night pass, priced at €6 (cash only), grants access to all concerts and is available on the night at each venue (with a €2 ALF membership supplement where required). Alongside the live programme, Bordeaux Rock will also mark the occasion with the return of a double CD compilation, featuring all 40 artists playing Rock en Ville 2026, on sale throughout the festival for €10.

Garage, hardcore, surf rock and powerpop round out the night with names like Grenat, Barimore, Contre Feux, Gordon, Fast Lane and Aldo Is a Dog.
Friday, March 13, continues the celebration with a new wave of artists including Sam Fleisch, Jesus Pinto, Supernormal, Clarence and Yyellow. Beyond Rock en Ville
The festival week opens on Wednesday, March 11, with Portugal Com Amor, a special evening dedicated to contemporary Portuguese music featuring Ana Lua Caiano and Rita Braga, relocated to L’Inconnue in Talence.
Bordeaux Rock 2026 concludes on Saturday, March 14, with Festival Bordeaux Rock #22 at La Salle des Fêtes du Grand Parc, headlined by Marlon Magnée (La Femme), alongside Dominique Dumont and Équipe de Foot. Tickets for this closing night start at €28.
Two decades after Rock en Ville’s first steps, Bordeaux Rock 2026 stands as both a celebration and a statement: a festival rooted in the city, built on local creativity, and still committed to exploring the many edges of independent rock culture.
