Delirium Festival has unveiled the full lineup for the first date of its 2026 season, marking the beginning of what organizers describe as their most ambitious chapter to date. The event will take place on May 16 at La Pineda Fosca in Cassà de la Selva (Girona), returning to one of the festival’s most emblematic locations. Across 14 continuous hours of music (13:00–03:00), Delirium will present two equally curated stages supported by an unprecedented production setup, designed to create a fully immersive experience in the heart of nature.
Developed in close collaboration with the platform Loud-Contact, the musical curation avoids formulaic programming in favor of a carefully constructed sonic narrative. Rather than focusing solely on headline appeal, the festival aims to guide audiences through a journey that moves between forward-thinking techno, refined digging culture, and hypnotic minimal aesthetics—while maintaining the same technical and artistic standards on both stages.
Leading the lineup is Maceo Plex, whose distinctive sound has bridged driving techno, IDM, electro and breaks for over a decade. With a career often described as legendary, and modern classics such as Solar Detroit and Conjure Balearia under his belt, Maceo Plex brings an immersive and emotionally layered live presence that remains central to contemporary electronic music.
Joining him is Marcel Dettmann, a defining figure of the Berlin sound and a long-standing Berghain resident. Through his labels MDR and Bad Manners, Dettmann has shaped a stripped-back, timeless techno aesthetic that balances raw Chicago energy with subtle emotional depth. Italian DJ and producer Marco Faraone completes the leading trio, bringing his dynamic versatility—from textured deep grooves to explosive peak-time techno—honed through key residencies and his UNCAGE imprint.
The lineup further intensifies with cult selectors such as DJ Nobu, founder of Future Terror and one of Japan’s most respected underground figures, whose wide-ranging sets transcend genre boundaries. Serbian selector Vladimir Ivkovic adds narrative depth with his psychedelic and emotionally driven approach, while Onur Özer contributes his hypnotic minimal sound shaped by Istanbul’s electronic scene and his long-standing association with Vakant.
True to its ethos of nurturing the local ecosystem, Delirium also spotlights regional talent. Lumiere will deliver eclectic, acid-tinged techno; Scoom Legacy blends cinematic textures with deep house and avant-garde techno; Shel·ly merges rave culture with hip-hop roots and 90s aesthetics; and Test13 rounds out the bill as one of Barcelona’s most active underground agitators.
This opening date represents more than a standalone event—it signals a broader strategic expansion. While Girona remains the cultural core of the project, Delirium has confirmed plans to extend its presence beyond regional borders in 2026. The integration of Loud-Contact into its artistic and communication strategy reflects the festival’s ambition to strengthen its European footprint while preserving its identity-driven approach.
Tickets for the May 16 edition are now available via Xceed and the official website, deliriummusicfestival.com. With a setting that merges art and nature, and a lineup rooted in sonic coherence rather than hype, Delirium 2026 begins with a clear statement of intent: elevate the experience, without compromise.
